Default "Bourne" Trilogy

I just got to thinking after talking to some of my Hollywood buds...

Once the final "Bourne" movie of the trilogy is released in August, I really hope the bird-brains at Universal will wake up. I mean... I LOVE THESE MOVIES!! Gee...let's market this as a boxed set collection on a format that only has 1/3 of the market share and miss the entire BD market.

Hopefully, this alone will sink their ship in '08 and get them to see the light.

If you're listening Uni... I aint buy'n no darn HD-DUD machine!!

It would be really nice if they would just start releasing quality products on Blu-Ray, and increase their income.

Until Universal decides to see the blu-light and go neutral, I'll be happy watching the 3 Bourne movies upconverted on my PS3.

Same here, I actually watched one on my PS3 tonight, good enough to make me not have to buy HD-DUD equipment.

The HD-disc market is so small right now, the lost BD sales are miniscule compared to the DVD sales Universal will receive from this title.

Having said that, if Universal eventually wants to benefit from the rising Blu-Ray sales numbers, they'll go neutral.

I was going to do that, but now I have decided to hold out until Uni gets their heads out of their asses and puts them on BD. You can't see the 'blu-light' when your head is in your ass. All you can see is red, from a bloody anus.

That's too bad. I really liked the first movie but couldn't enjoy the second for the same reasons. I guess I'll pass on the third...

The Director is Paul Greengrass and he is a phenominal action director. The hand camera scenes during the fights were used to give it more of an in the action feel rather. The Bourne Ultimatum is amazing. By far the best action movie of the year so far.

Saw Ultimatum last night and it's awesome. I went home and e-mailed Universal corporate asking them to please release these films (and others) in Blu-Ray. I know my stupid little e-mail does not good, but I felt I needed to do something.
