Does the PS3 playback WMV? - Blu-ray Forum

Dose it? Because I have alot of HD videos in WMV taht I would like to put on the PS3.

I don't think it does it uses Mpeg 1 and 2 plus 4.

You can install tversity and try and transcode on the fly.

Im not sure if its only for windows media as in music, but the ps3 has the option to enable playback of windows files there. Should be in settings. in might only be wma and not wmv. have to look.
