Black Rain and the Untouchables are pretty good titles picture quality wise... and entertainment wise too.

Most Paramount titles were of good quality... the latter titles were very good. If you can pick up Black Rain, that would be a good recommendation.

Shooter was one of the first movies I ever watched on Blu-ray, and I was blown away. I still think it holds up as one of the best titles out there, picture wise.

Still awaiting the discs to arrive, but Mission: Impossible Ultimate Collection is still available. It sold out rather quickly, so I would presume it must be pretty good.

There were mixed reviews on the first 2 films, the third was supposed to be good. I did not buy as I'm not a great Tom Cruise fan.

I highly suggest The Untouchables.

I bought Sleepy Hollow and the first Mission Impossible as well, but those aren't as good.

I still recall reading a news story where Paramount announced that starting after August 31 all Blu-ray releases would include lossless audio. We all know what happened shortly thereafter. B@st@rdz

Shooter has been a popular one, and MI3 or the MI boxset.

Check BB if you want Shooter they still have some left, the online prices for that one can be $50-100 talk about making a killing.

You do realize that info is available right here at blu-ray.com dontcha? Just click on "movies" and then find Paramount listed under studios on the left-hand nav bar. All movies listed. It's pretty intuitive...you don't need to go to hidifdigest when the info is right here.

Babel is probably the best thing Paramount released before it went over to the dark side.

Such a shame about Sleepy Hollow's Blu-Ray treatment. That was one of my favorite 1999 movies. I saw it when I was 12 and remember being so scared because of being alone in that movie (through a closed theater sneak preview--everyone else was watching The World Is Not Enough).

I really enjoyed The Italian Job and Disturbia. I had ordered Shooters but they sent me an e-mail that unfortunately they had sold out.

So I am still hoping to find it somewhere but my hopes are diminishing.
