Lasberblast is finally coming to blu-ray from Full Moon Features... it will feature new commentary from Charles Band and Richard Band.

It's expecting to street on 10/10 right before the big new Puppet Master Blu-Ray Trunk Box Set

Got me excited for a second until I got to the Full Moon and Charles Band part.

I wonder what will be wrong with this release?

He'll probably use a dated master. Dated as in circa 1995. Some scenes will probably be rearranged or, worse, missing. But if it's cheap it's OK, right?

Hack has put out 2 Blurays I wanted to buy.
I buy them and both are cocked up ( TOURIST TRAP and FAIRY TALES ).

90% of Blu-rays they release are pretty fantastic.

I like this movie, and I'm in, although my expectations are low for transfer, picture quality, etc.

I used to love watching this as a kid when our local station would broadcast it on Saturday afternoons as part of their monster marathons.

Awesome. It's cheesy, fast paced, and it has Roddy McDowell AND Eddie Deezan! What more can you want? Oh yeah, quirky stop motion aliens!

Hopefully, Parasite 3D is next.

Parasite won't be coming from Full Moon since they don't have the rights, probably a good thing since it likely wouldn't include 3D. Although that does beg the question, who does have the rights?

Did Charles Band lose the rights? I know Full Moon released it on DVD years ago. Anchor Bay also released it at one point, finally in the scope ratio.
