Default Electro/Techno/House Blu-rays

Anyone know of any?

I'm really appreciating the music blu-ray's available and feel this could be the real killer part of blu-ray's assault in the HD war. The sound you get from, for example, the John Legend house of blues blu-ray, is just incredible.

One genre that really benefit's from this sort of thing is electronic music, specifically if any of you have heard of the swedish group - the Knife - they had an award winning dvd out a year and a half ago or so, and originally composed the song "heartbeats" that Jose Gonzales covered in the Sony Bravia "bouncy ball" ads.

this would translate really well to BRD, anyone heard of any good dance offers coming up?

Well, I don't know of any releases here in germany yet. But I would be pleased if Kraftwerk will jump on the Blu Train. They're known for innovation...

Exactly, they are the godfathers of all that is electronic. If it wasn't for them we wouldn't have a lot of IDM or EBM acts right now, including Skinny Puppy, Front 242, KMFDM, Front Line Assembly, etc. There are a lot of bands I would love to see release a Blu Ray title.

That would be awesome if they had blu-ray DJ sets. I like all kinds of music, but I listen to house music more than any other genre- deep, funky, disco-y house. I would love to see Joey Youngman, Miguel Migs, Mark Farina, etc. spinning out at some massive club on blu-ray.

I don't have any information to add other than to add my voice to those calling for the release of more house/electronic music titles. And Kranftwerk would be a great start.

One of the things that always bugged me about SA-CD was how little music ever got released in these genres. Really, outside of the Groove Armada releases and the limited edition Paul Van Dyk releases, there was never much of anything released.

Kraftwerk would be insane, got to see them live a few years back.

Any of the big names would still be worth a buy imo, Basement Jaxxx, Chemical Brothers, Crystal Method, Paul Van Dyk, Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Sasha, Digweed - all of them would be worth a purchase.
