Ps3 Not playing a certain disc

So I've never had a problem with a blu ray before, all of them haved worked no problem.

I bought a copy of piranha on ebay, popped it in to watch tonight but my ps3 can't find the disc, nothing shows up on the XMB. It makes some weird noises when inserted, some beeps and the sound like its ejecting but the disc doesn't come out. I thought the disc was just broken since I bought it on ebay, but I tried it out on the blu ray player in my living room and it plays just fine. Was thinking that the laser in my ps3 was just broken but I tried other movies and they all loaded. Any ideas whats going on?
