Just bought the Splinter Cell Conviction Bundle...what else?!?

Hey, some of you may remember me from the old Xbox 360 thread, but I got rid of my 360 a little while ago and now I'm BACK!!

Anywayz, the splinter cell game came with the bundle that I got, but I'm looking into other games. I know Mass Effect 2 came out while I didn't have a 360, but I never played Mass Effect 1. Do I need to play Mass Effect 1 to understand 2?

I also have a PS3 Slim and was wondering if the difference in Bayonetta was enough to justify selling my PS3 copy to get a 360 copy. I've read about the differences, but I was just wanting to know from maybe someone here who's had them both or at least seen them both in action

Also, All my old friends are gone
I need some new ones

Playing Mass Effect 1 definitely helps with playing 2. You can carry over your character from the first to the second. But you do not have to play the first, but I would recommend you do.

As for Bayonetta, I have no clue. I have yet to play it.

Congrats on getting the bundle, good deal.

If you want to play Mass Effect 2, play Mass Effect 1 first. It will help you understand 2 and the entire Mass Effect universe more if you play it. Think of it as watching a The Godfather or the Spider-Man trilogy or any other trilogy. Would you really watch the second or third movie first? No. Watch/play them in order .

I have seen Bayonetta played on 360 and PS3. There is a difference in them, but if you have it on PS3 already, I would say keep it, unless you could do an even trade with someone for it, I wouldn't bother.

Thanks for the responses guys. Amazon has Mass Effect for $19 free 2 day shipping with Prime! I seen Metro 2033, but I don't know anything about it. I'm gonna check out some videos!

I hope you pick it up. I will too but I'm holding out to see if MS does release a 360 slim or not before I buy a 360 again (long story).
