Yep, I know a lil late on the thread, cuz it is the day before valentine's...but come on, the majority of us are all males here and you know it...we're mostly all last minute.

So I ask you, what are you getting your loved ones for V-Day? Electronics? Maybe a blu player or movies? or something girly like clothes?

Myself, im still debating if to buy my girlfriend an iTouch(which might later become mine

) or just get her some Gift cards.

It's all a matter of understanding how your bread gets buttered so to speak. So with that said, my wife is getting, flowers, candy, cards and a Victoria's Secret gift certificate!

i know it's sappy, but this year my girlfriend and i went through a very trying test in our relationship, so i wrote a long heart-felt letter (about 2 pages 12pft, single spaced) and then went out and re-wrote the letter in a calligraphic pen (ended up being about 12 pages in total) on some nice tan parchment paper. put those pages in plastic inserts so they are protected, and bound the pages together and hot glued with nice ribbon. then bought some nice fabric and made a makeshift envelope with that and folded it together to make a nice triangular intersection that is held together by a wax seal that is imprinted with the first letter of her name.

it took about 20+ hours to do. very frustrating at times, because i'd occasionally make a mistake while writing the calligraphy and would have to scrap almost an entire sheet of written paper that took 45 minutes to do.

she's getting that, a nice card, and hopefully we can make it to some place to eat that's decent because i didn't get on the ball to make reservations.

as far as flowers go, i buy her flowers all the time and put them in the bathroom for her so that she always has something nice to look at and that smells good every time she comes in. will be passing on the flowers for this V day. i just want to wow her is all. not even looking to ....you know...... get the "L" word. if you catch my drift.
