Sony BDP-S360 Clearance @ Target - Blu-ray Forum

All,

The BDP-S360, which we know is a solid Profile 2 Blu-ray player, just went on clearance at Target stores around the U.S., effective today.

The current price is in the $120's (depending on how much stock your local store has, they might drop in price again, next Monday).

Great opportunity - esp. if you were waiting for a price drop, or need a Blu-ray player for another TV in your home...

I purchased mine at BB for only $99! Crazy how prices have fallen!

I just picked one up at K-Mart... Clearance price of $59.99 plus tax.

$60 is YMMV. my local store still wanted $100 for it.

Yep...I read that some stores hadn't gone that far yet. Give it some time.

This player has been very good to me. Plays everything I throw at it without ever a hiccup.

I felt it was a great buy @ the $119 I paid a while back. Anything less is a steal!

Hey everyone I am new to the forum but since you guys have the Sony S360, which is the player I have I thought you might be able to help me. I bought the player back at Christmas time from Amazon and it worked fine. I rented The Informant and it had audio problems and I had to turn the volume all the way up to hear the movie but the volume level and audio were fine during the bonus features and during the trailers when the disk first started. I thought maybe it was just that disk. Well I recently bought Ghostbusters and Major League and both movies are the same way. When the disk is playing the main menu the volume is fine and when I watched the extra features the volume was fine when I start the movie I have to turn my volume on my TV all the way up to 90 to be able to hear it.

Does anyone else have this problem? I do not have any kind of sound system I just have it hooked up to my TV and use the TV's speakers. Is there any special kind of settings I should use? I have never had this problem when using this player with my old DVDs and some Blu Ray's are fine just those three that I mentioned.

I picked up one of these today for $59.99 at K-Mart. On the outside it had a $99.99 clearance tag on it. But I took it the register to do a price check and it rang up $59.99. It was the last one they had.

I just bought the last one they had at K mart.

$59.99 is unbelievable. I'm going to store it in case one of my other ones break. I wish they would have had more than one. I'll be good as long as sony keeps supporting it.

I bought mine as part of Target's Black Friday deals, last year (paid around the low $100s, which, at the time was a deal in itself).

Liked it so much, I grabbed a second one for the bedroom this past weekend for a low $95.00 + tax.

Steal!
