Default ABKCO Remasters

I've been looking for The Rolling Stones Hot Rocks. The ABKCO remastered stereo SACD. Has anyone found a good source for this? It's amazing how much some of the ABKCO Rolling Stones SACD titles are going for. I found one for $600.00.

Check out Amazon Japan ! They have a NEW SEALED for 4,980 yen = $55 USD

Not sure if its the Remastered version though, and I guess from what you mentioned...it isn't. Anyway that's what I found and good luck!

Hi John. It's a remaster but it's the CD and not the SACD. Thanks anyway buddy, I really appreciate it. How did you find this in Japan?

A CD? Strange as I originally found it at SA-CD.net and clicked the link (top right hand side) for Amazon Japan.

You're right. I didn't notice the link in your post. I went directly to the site and found the CD but not the SACD. When I clicked on your link I got to the SACD but when I tried to buy I got a message that they wouldn't ship to my address.

That sucks! Can you have it shipped elsewhere and then forwarded?

I found one on e-bay from Australia. He claims it is in mint condition. We'll see.

I have this set and it sounds great. I would be scared of ordering this over the Internet without the seller verifying it is in the digipak case, which marks it as the SACD. The reissue uses the same UPC code but is just a regular cd in a jewel case. Many sellers who only go off the UPC code will not know the difference.

Thanks for the heads up Clark.
