Hi all. I recently updated my gallery. Some had asked to see my Star wars stuff as well, so that's in there now too.
I'll be updating again soon when I get my new Polks and hook them up.
Enjoy.

Nice collection, and nice movie room too. I like the movie reels. That collection is something else. That is a lot of stuff! The lightsabers by the posters look awesome. I know another member that is going to love to check them out......nice job on that room and excellent color too!

Thanks guys. I always consider this as a work in progress as I am never satisfied and constantly tinkering. I plan on running a projector eventually and possibly building a riser for the seating, but not anytime soon.

That room really is screaming for a projector.....that's how I felt about my room and finally did something about it......

Yeah, I have a pull down da-lite screen and an Epson Movie Mate 720p projector that I mainly used out in the yard during the summer. I may run it inside until I decide to get a better projector. The picture on it is actually pretty good. We watched Spiderwick Chronicles outside on a 144" inflatable screen and it looked really good. It wouldn't take to much for me to mount the projector and hang the screen to come down right in front of the TV but I'm taking a break for awhile.

I hear ya.....a 720p projector can really throw up a very nice image. I love what my Sanyo can do. Thanks for the rating by the way!

Absolutely. I liked the small Polks but every time I would look at the setup I would think "they're way to small for the big TV". As usual I told this to my wife and she said what she always says, "If you want them, get them". This time I was the one going back and forth and she was like, "the price is right so get em or you'll be kicking yourself later". I've said this before but she's a keeper...

Thanks for the great comments. Glad you liked it all. I have a lot more Star Wars stuff that's boxed up. I actually have too much to display so I pick and choose and swap stuff out on occasion.

Well I hooked the new speakers up and I'm loving it. Compared to the small Polks I had it like night and day. Been having a ball with it and they look much better too. I was a little worried when I unboxed the center channel. It looked like it might be to big to put in front of the TV but it just fit.
Now I have lots of movies to watch again with better audio.

I haven't got the pics up yet but we finally finished our hallway bathroom near the home theater. I had some old comics and my wife said why don't we do a super hero and villains bathroom. Well I went crazy with it. We went to our local comic book store and got a bunch of 1 dollar comics. The wife said instead of painting the room we should cover the walls with comics. Well, we were in the process of changing the 3 toilets in the house to nice new high efficiency dual flush ones so I did that first. Next thing was floating glass shelves for the statues I had, new fixtures, an in wall trash pail, new light fixture and mirror. This thing turned into a bigger project than what I had planned but we love it. I'll get some pics up soon so you all can see it. It really is a showcase bathroom now.
Pics to follow soon.

Great setup, I LOVE all the Star Wars stuff!
I am curious where the Han Solo in carbonite came from? I have seen a few people with them in their galleries. Not that I would have any place to put one but I would love to have one along with an R2 unit (might build one of those eventually) I can imagine Han was rather pricey...

Glad you like my setup. The Han was found on E-Bay quite a few years ago. It was number 72 out of like 500 that were made. Mine was also signed by the president of Illusive Originals, one of the Chiodo Brothers. It cost me about 2,250.00 bucks and was a Birthday present to me from my wife. I don't think there are 500 intact ones left though so they are pretty hard to come by and do cost a pretty penny. It's my favorite prop replica......
You can get full size C3PO and R2D2 from Sideshow for a little over 5,000.00 each. I really want them but way too expensive.
