Hey,
I was going to pick up "Goodfellas," but a new one was just released recently. Does anyone know if the PQ or AQ has changed? I don't really care for the special features, but if there is better PQ and AQ, I'll put out more money for it. Thanks. |

This exact same thing happened with The Punisher. Lionsgate put out the same disc, but in a new case. It was all black instead of black and silver. Thankfully I did my research on it before buying it, I almost bought the same disc haha.
I think it's unnecessary for companies to do this. |

Yeah, its a 1hr 45min documentary called "Public Enemies: The Golden Age of the Gangster Film" which was included previously in another Warner DVD box set. Included as a special feature on this DVD is a selection of Merrie Melodies and Looney Tunes cartoon shorts.
So they took an existing Blu-ray Disc and an existing DVD and packaged them together in a Digibook package that adds liner notes and photographs. They weren't being real lazy with this release since they could have just stuck the two discs in a regular keepcase and called it the anniversary edition. It had to take a little effort to put the Digibook together and I mean a litlte bit. |

They could have at least included HD Audio. This Disc still comes only with DD 5.1. I mean even "Ghost Ship" had True HD.. Obviously the new packaging took a lot of work. They could have spent that in remastering the sound.. The picture still is pretty good

The audio on this disc is still better than DVD. Disappointing they didn't upgrade, but it's still a pretty good track.
