Default Bluetooth Ps3 Help ma Dudes!

Okay I used to have a previous bluetooth, was cheap worked fine but it kept using a crappy expensive battery so I needed to get a new one that was rechargeable. It is the Jabra BT2070. Man I hope it wasn't a waste of money.

So anyway I have it registered on my ps3 and everything but it won't read my voice. Like there is silence and when I'm on Cod I don't have a mic symbol next to my name and everyone who has a mic's voices go to the tv instead. If my mic is registered why won't it be read?

Go into accessory settings>>>audio device settings>>>>change input and output to your device.

I just learned this a few firmware updates ago. Has to be slightly new. I used to use my bluetooth all the time then I tried to use it for BFBC2 demo and it wouldn't work.

The basics of bluetooth headset pairing and input/output device selection hasn't changed from the start.

It's all explained in the manual but I guess nobody bothers to read that.

Well I did upgrade from a fatty to a slim. I know I've never gone into that input output thing before I had my slim....

Actually.. if you can find help in the manual, you can just as easily find the setting in the XMB on your PS3. It's really not that many (12) options to read through.

We didn't have to bother dealing with that silly problem before because my previous bluetooth automatically connected by pressing the button on the headset. Now I have to go and connect it manually. A pain in the ass.
