Default Spirited Away Bluray Release - What the hell disney??

Has there been any news as to when they will release Spirited Away on bluray? I've been waiting for this to be released for years now, pretty much since I started collecting blurays about 3 or 4 years ago (my freshman year in college), and tbh I'm a little annoyed they haven't put it out yet, given that, far as I can tell, its the only Miyazaki film they've yet to put out on bluray.

I know it was supposed to come out in Japan last year, so I'd expect sometime this year, but I'm really wondering why the hell they put it off till dead last? Even Porco Rosso, probably his least well known and most obscure filmother than The Castle of Cagliostro) has already been released. Unless they think making everyone wait will somehow increase its sales, why on earth would they make whats probably his most well known film be dead last for a bluray release?

"Save the best for last", I suppose. That would be a valiant marketing strategy, as it was for its JP release.

True, it's the last Miyazaki film that Disney has, but they do have three other remaining Ghibli films to release. They may want to make us wait for Spirited Away by releasing the others first.

Ocean Waves - even longer shot though I think Disney has the rights to it.

When Marnie Was There -- looks like GKIDS picked up and it too early to expect a NA release

I would bet on SA and the top 2 which would fit with the previous patterns of one of the subjective Big Name titles being the cornerstone (Nausicaa, Mononoke, Wind Rises) along with 2 others. I was going to say B-list or lesser titles, but that certainly doesn't really apply here
You got them. My Neighbors the Yamadas, The Cat Returns, and Only Yesterday. Right now I'm hopeful Disney will release them all, considering in the past I never thought we'd even get this far.
