Default Thought it was funny

We all know how Universal is all about HD-DVD right now, but I thought it was funny while watching Universal HD channel the other day, that they had Blu-Ray advertising on their channel. A future omen perhaps? hmmmm

That is kind of funny.

How tied is Universal HD the channel to Universal the movie studio though?

Maybe they charged them more?

I bet the advertising portion is completely different. They have a group that sells advertising and that group probably knows nothing about HD DVD or anything. I wonder if when the ad was sold, the group buying had a little snicker and thought "wow.. they let us buy it - this is great!"

Default Going where the money is

It's kind of funny that GE Plastics helped build a Blu-ray disc manufacturing plant. Not sure how they are affiliated with GE Universal.
