Just noticed (whilst browsing Yesasia) that Winners and Sinners is up for preorder with a release date of February the 5th.

Couldn't find a thread on it like most of the other Jackie Chan releases so thought I'd start my own. Surprised no one has mentioned it or am I just being blind and this is old news ?

Funny how this has been marketed for years as a Jackie Chan film even tho he's barely i it LOL. Very funny film.

How disappointing (but not surprising).

I was looking at my IVL/Joy Sales DVDs last night and thinking that many of them are now on blu-ray... that I have absolutely no intention of buying. I have a dozen or so blu-rays on my shelf of classic HK titles from Fortune Star, and very few were worth the money. Some, like "Zu Warriors From The Magic Mountain" look so awful I can't even watch them. Some might be marginally better than the DVD, but... big deal. "Marginally better" isn't good enough.

Couldn't agree with you more but like many have said it seems that this is the best we'll get until somebody pulls their finger out and starts putting some money, time and effort into getting these remastered properly.
Maybe it'll happen one day.....maybe.

If I win the lottery then I'll personally restore them myself, promise
