Denon DVD-3800DBCi will not play AVS BD

I bought some calibration equipment that included a Blu-ray AVS HD calibration disc. The supplier has assured me that it has played in all Blu-ray players. However, it will not load and play on my above player.


Comments?

I had thought that this expensive player would have no problems playing this disc. So now I have no HD pattern disc to use with the calibration equipment.

Am I doing something wrong here?
