Rock Band 2 Free DLC - Blu-ray Forum

Hey all you out there. Maybe its just me being in the dark, but i just found out today that if you look on the back of your rock band 2 manual, you will find instructions for 20 free dlc songs. i was shocked to find that and then find that it actually is still valid! anyways, just figured id share my news with all you people who might not know this..... Rock On!!!

oh wow, that is pretty old news, but good to know for people that are just getting the game, i figured they would shut that down eventually, but thats great that its still valid, rock on!

I know its old news lol ahha, thats why i was soooo surprised when i only found out last night! lol.

Depending on your tastes, the songs will be hit or miss or somewhere in between. The only group that I could instantly identify with was X Japan, and that was only because I was into the Japanese rock/pop scene in my anime days. When I had to re-download my DLC song list onto my new PS3 when I lost the previous PS3 (and no, I didn't get the chance to backup the HDD from the previous PS3), I didn't even bother to re-download the 20 free songs as they really weren't all that memorable. Ah well

I disagree, there's a few songs that will make most people happy in the pack unless you have very particular tastes in music, and the songs themselves are fairly fun chart-wise.

The pack also used to be "wrong" in Europe, which resulted in getting songs from Red Hot Chili Peppers (Snow) and other good songs.
