Default Can we please do this?

Ok . . . since Tuesday this forum has gone from great to just a hair above totally shi**y. Can we make one sticky thread about grain? Not just for 300, but any movie that has grain? And from that point on, just delete any other threads that have to do with the same ignorant and annoying non-issues? Black bars, grain etc, can really be handled by two stickies that don't clutter up the rest of the board. As well as the totally useless "other movies with grain" threads and polls and surveys and other worthless babble. Just a suggestion . . . however, I think us people that actually care and have any understanding about the nature of films would really appreciate this.

EDIT: Someone earlier had posted a thread about new members having to read an FAQ and agree not to ask questions about these topics that have been discussed ad nauseam until they are allowed to post. I understand there are a LOT of new members coming in every day, and everybody has basic questions, but the board is getting overwhelmed by such threads and the healthy and stimulating discussion gets harder to sift out by the day.
