Hidden deep within the Hotai forest lives a family of playful and mysteriously colored creatures known as Piyos. Every spring Mother Piyo, “PIYOMAMA™”, lays eggs to fill the forest with new colorful Piyos. However, this year, in all of her excitement, she laid too many! In Piyotama, players help her hatch the eggs before they overflow the nest.
Simply line up the colorful eggs, chain them together and combo hatch them. Lining up four or more eggs of the same color causes them to hatch. Piyotama is an excitingly addictive action-puzzle game for PLAYSTATION 3. Easy to learn and hard to quit, Piyotama delivers fast puzzle gameplay in 1080p.

According to IGN this will be released TOMORROW! No mention of whether it'll just be on the US store or Euro stores too.

Looks very cute. Might pick this up, as I think it'll be a hit with my nieces who love cute puzzle games.

Looks cool - a lot like Tetris Attack, which is one of my all-time favorite games.
![]() Now I just wish they'd hurry up with Championship Bowling and Super Snake Ball. |

Roger that.
I just picked this game up. At $2.99 it's a steal. Gameplay wise, it closely resembles games like Hexic or Bejeweled. It's not a showstopper game, but for less than $3, what do you really want, right? Heh. The control scheme makes sense, but takes some getting used to. D-pad controls the height of the shifting bar and juggles each line left/right, allowing you to move and reposition eggs to line them up. X juggles the 3 eggs that are currently "out of play" to let you fine-tune positioning. Shaking the SixAxis when there are no combos currently lit up shakes up the playfield and lets you fill in "holes" in the wall of eggs by letting them settle. Shaking the SixAxis when there's a combo lit on the screen breaks all the eggs in the combo and removes them from play. |
