I have exactly 200 blu rays skus so any movie should get exactly .5% per title. I have 18 animes so that should be 9% of my collection, but when I click statistics it says only 1.9% of my collection is anime. I had been trying to figure out why it wasnt adding up. Then I realize that each title has more than 1 genre and that the system is adding all of the genres for the stats. So while I have only 200 skus it looks like I have about 800-900 genre tags that when divided by 18 is giving only 1.9% of my collection as anime.
Is there anyway the programmers can have each title have one primary genre tag so the statistics come out right. If you wondering what I mean by genre tags as an example African Queen is Adventure / Drama / Period / Romance / War so it has 5 genre tags. So if that was the only movie in my collection under stats it would each one of those genres as having 20% of my collection even though I have only one movie. |
