Default HK 254 FM Antenna ?

I know this is a bit off topic for this forum but can someone who owns the HK 254 tell me how to set up the FM antenna? I plugged in my TV cable split off the main cable in and when i switch to FM no channels tune in and all I get for some other channels is like loud UFO sounds? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank You !

You cannot plug your TV cable into the antenna connection on the AVR. You can only plug in the FM antenna that comes with the AVR(or one bought from a Radio Shack type store).

you should have 2 antenna, 1 AM loop, 1 FM cable, the 2 antenna get plug into the rear upper L corner it say RADIO ANTENNAS,I couldn't get reception using the FM or AM antenna that came with my receivers,so I went to BB and pick up a TERK Tower AM/FM Power Antenna I have good reception.
