Just curious.

I haven't in a while and I had to download some SERIOUS updates last night that took hours! Are they still developing for this title?

every once in a while! it is a good pick me up and play for 5 10 mins kind of game! i mean come on! who doesn't like destroying stuff! lol

I don't play PAIN online... I don't play any games online. But my sister and myself will play PAIN on multiplayer at times. Not sure why the updates would take "hours" unless you have a slow internet connection. Also the game has "in-game" ads that are updated frequently that wouldn't really be considered "still in development". Only other times you download things are for specific holidays when they change the main menu theme or if you purchased any of the add-on content thru the PSN. I think PAIN is set up to where it will not download the actual content until you start up the game so the PSN download is like 100KB which is just for your game to tell the PAIN servers to send you the new content. I think.

Ah well that explains it because they added the Online feature and probably a few other things since then. You can also buy add-on content from the PSN as in more places to destroy and more characters to launch.

I haven't really played it since it got released but man does it seem to have the most dev support of any PSN game so far. Nearly every week there is some new Pain addon from characters to game modes to full new levels.

Every now and again, once I get a new PS3 I'll probably play it some more though not looking forward to the updates again!

I play it now and then, especially to try and earn some more trophies. I will play it locally with my parents too (they get a hoot out of it). But I don't do the online play.

I just bought a few DLC for this but can't figure out how to play those.

The darts one and a few others, but aren't listed on the menu for single player.

wish other game psn titles got this much attention. specially a game called super stardust hd. imagine playing that one with online co-op...

I am not pleased with myself for buying the DLC. lol I can't even figure out how to play those modes, and the ones I can play are too frustrating to enjoy.
