Default Has anyone else noticed the terrible spelling and grammar on these forums?

I'm not trying insult anyone, and I like this site as much as the next guy. Still, I wonder why the spelling and grammar is so bad in the forum section of the site. Has anyone else noticed that almost no one writes "biased," but rather "bias" or "biast?" It's shocking how many errors there are.

One must note that many users here use proper grammar, and I know I'm not without errors. Just wondering if you have thought this too.

i seldom use punctuation, my typing sucks but my spelling is generally ok....
Am I setting a bad example?

But on a serious note, This forum has users from all over the world and not all users are from the US, keep that in mind as well.

Weo, keep in mind there are people from all over the world with all different backgrounds that join the forum, English isn't everyone's first language...and cmon, it IS a forum after all, not a graduate thesis

Jwbbud, not at all! This is an online forum -- mistakes are inevitable, and no one should take the time to make their posts perfect. I was just alarmed by how clear it was that some members had no clue their mistakes were, in fact, mistakes. It's especially shocking given how well-informed members here tend to be about the A/V technology.

Sussudio, point taken. My previous post addresses some of your concerns. I couldn't have more respect for those learning a new language and being brave enough to join a forum in that language. If only I could do that . . .

Got Em! is a Texas term, not quite sure what it means. I think it has something to do with rodeoing.
