Rike Wakeman The Six Wives of Henry VIII

Just when I have lost faith in real musicians getting the recognition they rightfully deserve, along comes the new release by one of the greatest composers of his generation. My first exposure to Rick Wakeman came when I saw the slasher movie "The Burning". The synth score may have put other people off, but I welcomed the change of pace.

After my brother went through a progressive rock stage, (which he still is in), I got a chance to see YES in concert.-I actually believe they were callled Anderson, Bruford, Wakeman, and Howe due to legal issues at this point.

Anyway, after Keith Emerson, Rick is the greatest keyboardist in the world. It pains me to talk to music lovers who refuse to acknowledge any artist who isnt currently on MTV or have a top 40 single on itunes. If you love art rock, progressive rock, or just grand melodic music, I highly recommend picking this up.
