Default Carla Gugino is Karen Sisco.


As a big Elmore Leonard fan, I look to see and read anything I can that has his name on it.

My favorite films based on his novels were Out of Sight and Jackie Brown (based on his Rum Punch novel).

Karen Sisco aired on ABC several years back and starred Carla Gugino (Spy Kids, Sin City) as the title character, the US Marshal, portrayed in the movie Out of Sight by Jennifer Lopez.

The 1st episode, wrapping up right now, is a familiar tale to anyone who's followed the character of Sisco. She's dating a guy who turns out to be a bank robber, and has to decide whether or not she'll stop him from leaving, because of her feelings for him.

Disappointed that this only lasted 10 episodes. It even has Robert Forster (Max Cherry from Jackie Brown) as her father, who was played by Dennis Farina in Out of Sight.

Anyone else see this show?
