Default Where to audition speakers in Miami?

Hey guys, I live in Miami, Florida (US), and I'd like to audition some speakers. I plan to upgrade slowly, as I already have a 7.1 setup that I enjoy, but I want to take it to the next level. Of course, this is after I finish a little project I have to treat my room. My budget is ~$1,500 for 5 speakers, or all 7, depending on cost (sub is separate).

I'm really interested in the Infinity Primus series, because they are affordable, they are 3-way, and they get very good reviews. Heck, I can probably get 6 of the P362 towers + PC350 Center and still make my budget. I don't care if they are big, as this is my bedroom, so nobody will complain.

Then, there's the Klipsch Reference series, which I think look sexy as hell, and everyone seems to love how detailed and efficient they are. The efficiency of the current speakers is 89db, powered by an Onkyo TX-SR606. My old room was 10x10x8, while this new one is 12x12x8. Volume at 45 in my receiver sounds good, it was perfect for my old room, but in this new one is a tiny-bit softer than I'd like. I can't raise it much, because compression starts kicking in about 48. Also, I like detailed and directional speakers, because I also play games aside from watching movies.
The RF-62 towers seem good, but the RC-62 center is so damn expensive!!!!!!

So, where can I audition speakers in Miami? In the almost 10 years I've been living here, I've never come across a speaker store. I don't even know where to look, as I tried google, but not much luck.

Thanks.

Only place I can think of in the Best Buy Magnolia store (Dadeland North Station & West Kendall store). I also believe that Brandsmart has some speakers that you can audition, but nothing high end. As far as a dedicated HT/speaker store I do not think you will find one in Miami.

Did you try Yellow Pages under home theater or home audio?

Most manufacturers will have a dealer locater on their website. Just put in your zip code and it will give you the nearest dealers.

have you considered going onto websites of several different companies and seeing if there are dealers local to you. Try these: I am sure you could find many more, that took me about 5 minutes

That is what I do. Check the websites and put in your zip code and usually something will pop up.

There is one store named Sound Components it is next to US1 and fifty something near Sunset Place Mall,I went there like a year ago and I saw (for the first time in my life) some Paradigms and some B&Ws and some other brands that I can't remember I couldn't demoed because they were moving from a previous place and everything was disconnected, I don't know if they are still in business though but it seems to me like a high end place.

Oh nice, great idea. Thanks guys, it never occurred to me.

I searched google maps for the closest Klipsch dealer to my address, and as soon as I go into street-view, it looked like it was in the middle of a black neighborhood, lol. Kinda scary. (no offense intended)
I'll keep trying addresses.

Thanks!

Can't find places to audition speakers in MIAMI?!?!?!?!

I live in North Dakota...try finding a spot to audition speakers here. Nearest Best Buy is 126 miles away...and they have 1 5.1 set of polk speakers setup. The local shop in the same town had 2 paradigm speakers up and running....not 5.1, or 7.1...2 whole speakers.

Time to drive another 500 miles to another "metropolis" haha.
