Default What's your favorite scene in the Star Wars Prequels?

Hi everyone!

I would like to find out what your favorite scenes in the Star Wars Prequels are!

For me there are way too many to list here, but some would be

TPM: When the Droid army invades Naboo (entire sequence)
Anakin yelling it's working, it's working- gives me goose-bumps all the time.
Darth Maul jumping off the speeder bike in the dessert.
The first establishing shot of Naboo!
The invading spaceships to Naboo with that fabulous music!
The introduction to the underwater city.
The Pod Race
The End Battle
Any scene with Watto

ATOTC: When Anakin and Padme hug, and the shadow is cast onto the wall of the Naboo Homestead, he walks off to the speeder bike, telling Padme that he won't be long-gives me goose-bumps every time.
Arrival on Kamino, and everything there. The Aliens, the guided tour to the clones...
Yoda kicking a$$
The Solar Sailer or whatever Count Dokuu's spaceship is called flying from Geonosis to Coruscant in the sunset,
and from then on

ROTS: Anakin and Padme looking over to where the other one is, with that amazing J.W score, and Anakin shedding a tear.
The cut to General Grievous' journey to Utapau- Wow!
The Clones killing off the Jedi.
Anakin's flip out on the platform on Mustafar and the absolutely genius end battle, both Yoda versus the Emperor and Anakin versus Obi-Wan.
Anakin killing the Trade Federation allies on Mustafar and crying afterwards.
and so on.

The more detailed you describe it the better, of course!

Oh, I completely forgot to mention

Padme telling Anakin that she loves him and the entrance into the Arena, again with that mind-blowing music and incredibly magical imagaery on the screen.

Anakin and Padme on Naboo, rolling in the grassy fields.
Anakin's first terrible deed, when he slaughters the sandpeople, and
when he reveals it to Padme
Oh, and when they first meet Clive Lars? (his Stepfather), and he tells the story, after which he stands up and leaves to find his mom. Padme's looks....

Gosh, I love them all.

I completely agree with George that the SW movies are essentially silent (no dialogue) movies!

The Imagery and John William's Music create the mood and propel the story.

Too bad they weren't actual silent movies then we could have been saved from all the cheesy dialogue in the prequels!

The only three scenes that really stand out to me were:

The lightsaber duel between Darth Maul, Obi-Wan, and Qui-Gon at the end of Phantom Menace.
Anakin storming the jedi temple.
Anakin screaming "I hate you" as he starts on fire.

If JarJar had been brutally murdered at any point in the prequels, that would have been my favorite scene but since he wasn't, I'll have to go with the all too brief battle on Kashyyk.

I Think my favorite Scenes. in the Prequels had to be In Revenge of the Sith

When anakin was vader, and went to the Jedi Temple and killed all the jedi's and even the children was crazy.. and i think another scene was when he went to mustafar to kill the enemies that Sidious ordered him to do.. was tough to watch, and the scene between him and Obi-Wan was definately hard to watch.. and intense as hell. but i think Yoda VS The Emperor ruined the classic moments on The Mustafar battle.. it was trying to throw in way 2 completely diffrent scenes.. and the fans wanted to see the Real Deal. Vader VS Obi-Wan

there were alot of flaws in the Prequel Films..
alot of them..

Interesting challenge...like searching for a peanut in a turd. Well, if I had to choose:

Anakin finding his mom and then proceeding to slaughter the sand people camp.

Also, the scene where Obi Wan infiltrates the clone 'factory,' meets Jango and Boba, etc....thought that was a pretty cool scene overall.

This scene:

And basically any "evil" Anakin scene in Episode III where Hayden Christensen doesn't speak any lines. I just wish Lucas delved deeper into the mind of Anakin as he transforms into the badmutha. The scenes were cool, but I was wanting much much more. Booooooo.

I really loved the last hour or so in ROTS-- basically all of the scenes were memorable to me with great drama and tragedy. This movie is seriously underrated and it's my 2nd favorite of all the STAR WARS movies.

Are you serious? That was the barfinest!

I would go with something obvious, like the pod race, that was cool.

I liked the part when JarJar got his ears caught in the podracer and was sucked through the engine. A little gory, but very satisfying.

Waddya mean i dreamt that part??!!

I liked the underwater journey scene... "there's always a bigger fish". Simple and effective without being chaotic. Some of those crazy battle scenes just gave me a headache.

Love when Anakin yells at Obi-wan "I hate you". Makes me sad everytime.

Obviously the Lightsaber duel at the end of Phantom Menace.

When the Emperor kills all the jedi that come in with Mace to arrest him.

Didn't hate the prequels, but didn't love them either. And it made me roll my eyes everytime they call Vader "Annie"...

Ep I: At the beginning when the destroyer driods roll up, fire up their shields, and start shooting. Very cool. Of course, that's only 20 seconds in a two hour movie. Not good.

Ep II: The fight on Kimino between Obi-Wan and Jango Fett. First decent action scene in the prequels. Only took a movie and a half to get there.

Ep III: Two things -
Obi-Wan's delivery of the "You were the chosen one!" line.
The fact that Palpatine didn't state to Annakin, "Oh, and by the way, I (or Darth Plagueis) used this ability to manipulate midichlorians to create life to make you." It didn't need to be stated. We had all of the information we needed to figure it out.
