Westworld - Blu-ray Forum

Does anyone think Westworld will ever be released on Blu Ray, especially considering there will be a remake released in 2012?

Yul Brynner was an amazing actor, and I'd love to see this sci fi flick in HD.

Me too. It's kinda like an early version of "The Terminator"

If Futureworld (1976) is in the process of being brought to Blu-Ray in Europe, it would make perfect sense to release the movie that inspired this sequel, and that was Westworld (1973). For a sci-fi film of the early 70s, Westworld was quite original for its day. Let's hope it can be restored and brought back to new life on Blu-Ray as well. Yul Brynner recreated his role from The Magnificent Seven and put a robotic twist on it. It worked well, too.
