United Kingdom No Ed Wood for UK?

How come Ed Wood has not been so far released (or even announced AFAIK) for the UK consumers? It can't be that there isn't interest in this title, it's one of Tim Burton's best films.

Don't think it's a particularly big film in the UK and catalogue titles don't seem to sell well here unless they're big blockbusters.

Fortunately you can order the US version pretty cheaply from Amazon.com (which is what I did a month or so back)

Me too. No reason to whinge about the film not being released in the UK when there is a perfect one in the States that is region free!

Ive been waiting for a UK one too despite knowing the US one is region-free. Will probably have to give in soon though - definitely Tim Burton's best film in my opinion.

I would order it from America, but I have OCD and the slimmer American cases would really annoy me

Fabulous day kaloo kalay!

Seriously though really glad to see a UK release for this. I was going to pick the US version a little while back and I'm glad i didn't.

Yup - me too

But not a bad price for those who want it... I'd presume it'll drop in price too (or quickly be available in various Amazon/HMV deals & offers).

As an addition to my post above, the Burton boxset is current £12.49 (it was 9.99 in the Black Friday sales) - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Burton-Movie...39335&sr=1-142

So, if you don't have the other movies listed (I didn't), it's still a bargain as you're only paying an extra 2.50 for X3 more movies in addition to Ed Wood

Agreed, although I'd say that Ed Wood is worth the money alone. Burton's best film.

Definitely! Always loved it. I'm so glad it's being released on it's own, I really don't want that boxset. I already have The Nightmare Before Christmas, I don't like Alice in Wonderland and I can pick up Frankenweenie fairly cheap
