After a week of short usage times of this new receiver, the device decided to shut down.
The TX-SR507 was in use for about 30 minutes today. At about 30 minutes in, the system went off and there were no signs of life. The red standby light was off, the button would not work, etc... I unplugged and did standard troubleshooting. While on the phone with Onkyo, the system turned back on out of nowhere without any input by me. It seemed warm but operates in an open space, above the floor. It's working fine now. But I can see it dying again soon? Any idea of what would cause this? There was no power flash and it's on a surge protector. |
