anyone know if there are cuts present on the blus compared to the US versions? I believe Transsiberian was cut by 9s on dvd and The Spirit by 25s.

Have the blus restored the cut scenes?

I know that The Spirit is uncut. Not that it makes it any better.

excellent. Havent seen it yet, not expecting much but I wanted to watch the uncut version.

If anyone knows about Transsiberian, I'd be very appreciative of a response.

So far, out of all my UK purchases only Casino Royale looks to be cut, but less than the US version. Might have to source the local Aus disk when the price falls.

I can confirm that, yes, Transsiberian is the same cut as the DVD, so you lose those 9 seconds. It's a shame, as the picture quality is outstanding.

Was it cut for animal cruelty? If so, no chance of the BBFC letting it go.

no, its a torture scene.

thanks for the response Le Grand Blu, it also has HD audio which is why I went for it over the US disc. oh well, no real biggie I guess.
