'Hummingbird'- Jason Statham

Posted this elsewhere but just fyi...
'Hummingbird' w/Jason Statham (aka 'Redemption'- US title) is out on Monday in the UK.
It's a Lionsgate release and according to Home Cinema Choice magazine the first 6 minutes have a problem with the video being "washed out" looking.
The UK is a BD25 disc and the US (also Lionsgate) is a BD50 disc according to BR dot com and cinemasquid.
The US disc also comes with DVD, UV copy and a slipcover.

99% sure that the US Blu-ray release of Redemption/Hummingbird is a BD-25.

Should Lionsgate happen to hold the UK rights and the US rights to a title, any BD releases of that particular title in the UK and/or in the US will often (if not always) feature the exact same Lionsgate authored a/v encode.

Lionsgate's Home Video releases in the UK almost always come with a slipcover these days. Are you sure the UK release of Hummingbird doesn't have one?

I contacted the reviewer and he confirmed that the US review disc sent out for review on this site was definitely a BD50 and has none of the washed out image.
He also mentioned sometimes the review discs can be different than the discs actually sold at retail.

Any idea if the black level issue has been fixed on this now? I rented it when it came out and remember the issue, hoping it might have had a new batch done.
