Default Amazon is wacky

Today I bought, Hellboy, Doctor Strange and 300 for a total of $63. Amazon then applied a ($6) promotional credit to the order bringing it down to $57. No, I didn't have any promo codce and they didn't mention why they were giving me the break. This has happened w/ many of my recent orders.

Don't get me wrong, I love it... but they should at least explain why because it is impossible to search on their site for blu-ray sales, etc.

When did you make your first three Blu-ray purchase?

Up until the end of last year, when you made a three movie HD disc purchase, you were automatically enrolled in a extra 10% discount for a year promotion.

For me it has been flawless all year, but all of the sudden the titles are failing to get flagged again. For example, right now Halloween, Eyes Wide Shut, and 2001 won't bring up the discount.

Amazon's A9 search engine.

They'll occasionally give discounts to people that use it, I can't remember the amount though. It may have been smaller than 10%.

You have to be logged into your amazon.com account when you do your searches through A9 though.

I bet that's it. The discount was certainly 10%. For you maybe theose titles are not getting the discount because their release dates are beyond your 1-year anniversary. Try something with a closer release timeline and see what happens.
