Norway Yojimbo, Sanjuro ... and Das Leben der Anderen

Akira Kurosawa's Yojimbo and Sanjuro have been released on BD by Criterion, but I was wondering, does anyone know if there are plans for region B releases of these? Same goes for Seven Samurai, I guess - a Criterion release seems to be planned, but that's of less importance to me personally than the other two, since I've seen Seven Samurai (although a HD upgrade would be nice).

Also, I'm frustrated by Das Leben der Anderen (The Lives of Others). The US release is region A locked, and the region B releases I'm aware of only have German or French subtitles. Does anyone know of any UK or Norwegian releases being planned? It seems like such a great movie, and buying the DVD isn't really an option

Why don't you get a multiregion PC or player?

There's lots of versions of that model throughout Europe.

A pretty obvious solution, but I don't really have space for one in my cabinet, it's crammed pretty full with cable boxes, hi-fi equipment and the Playstation 3. Besides, if these movies are coming to region B, I won't even have to spend £100 on yet another player.

So I guess that's back to square one - I'm still interested in any insider info or educated guesses about the future availability of these movies
