Default Bluray.com Toy story review

Now I sometimes agree with the websites review but giving the first Toy Story movie a 4.5/5.0 is a horriable idea and then giving the second a 5/5. Dont get me wrong the second one is great but the first one should also be a 5/5

I was wondering that also. Everybody usually likes the first one better.

But thats kenneth's opinion. He's not wrong for it.

It's an opinion, either you agree or disagree . If reviewers were simply spitting back exactly what you wanted to hear, why bother reading them to begin with? It's impossible to please everyone .

Is a half a star really that big a deal?

What difference does it make if Ken thinks its a 4.5/5 or a 5/5 movie?
Its his opinion and his review.

If you think it is a 5/5 (I do), cool. He doesn't.
His opinion is just as valid as your's is.

This is exactly why I only pay attention the the parts of the review that cover the technical aspects. I know what I think of the movie already. I just want to know how good the PQ and AQ are and how faithful the transfer is to the original source material and if DNR or EE has been applied.

Ken likes the second part a little bit better than the first (so do I, most people do prefer the first one), its only a personal preference. K.B. gave Toy Story 4.5/5 for the movie. Top marks in PQ and AQ...In all honestly, there's little point to this thread.

Just ignore the reviews about the film itself and concentrate on the picture/sound categories. That's what I do.

Wasn't the first film slightly blown up to fit 1080p? I believe it was originally like 900p or close to that.

I believe Pixar was only able to render it in 720p back in '95.

When they were preparing for the 3D re-release though I remember reading that they were re-rendering them in a much higher resolution (4k I suppose).
