Folks, this movie is a blast. If you like 70s and 80s martial arts films with a high cheese factor, go for it. Joe Lewis and Benny The Jet are worth the price of admission alone, but wait! You also get Richard Norton, Sonny Barnes, and Bong Soo Han and his amazing hair! I saw trailers for this movie around the time that I was watching Lone Wolf McQuade and Clash of the Titans at my local low-end theater back in the day, but I never got to see it. This movie delivers on its trailer: if you like what you're seeing, you won't be disappointed. |

Ok ddwall just browsed your collection, and you should definitely get this.
![]() But seriously this movie is an absolute blast in the same way a lot of martial arts movies from this era are. Directed by Robert Clouse, same guy that directed Enter the Dragon. Also the same guy that directed Gymkata and a bunch of other martial arts flicks. This movie is nowhere near as good as Enter the Dragon and nowhere near as bad as Gymkata, but as entertaining as both of them if that makes any sense. I think Nocturnaloner said it best above, check out the trailer, if you like what you see then go for it. Really just a fun movie all around. Yeah its cheesy and probably considered a bad movie by a lot of people, but honestly, I friggin love it! Really happy Scorpion Releasing put it out on blu-ray. Only 1,000 copies, just another reason to grab it. |

My copy of Force: Five, along with Haunting of Morella, should be arriving later this week. I've seen neither but I'm quite confident about liking both titles. I'll probably dig Force: Five more, looks to be somewhere in between Enter the Dragon and Raw Force, both of which I own.

By the way, the backcover says that Benny the Jet was undefeated in his career which is false.
He was beaten by a student of Chuck Norris by the name of John Navidated. Also in his last fight Benny fought a guy called Yoshimita Tagami. Tagami was a Japanese fighter who at the time was 16 years younger than Urquidez. You could clearly see that Tagami won the fight but it was Benny´s last fight in his hometown and the referee´s gave him the win because they don´t want that Benny lost his last fight. You can watch the fight on YouTube. Chuck Norris and Don Wilson both were commentators for the fight. |

I've never seen nor heard of this movie, but that ridiculously cheesy trailer has peaked my interest. Based on my taste (ex. Loved the American Ninja movies; No Retreat, No Surrender; any Sho Kosugi movie; obsessed with Jean Claude Van Damme's early movies; etc.)
Think this is a safe blind buy for me? ![]() Honestly the only thing that is keeping me from buying it this instant is the price, and I need to know of the PQ. Can anybody comment on that? |
