Man stabs, kills 8 children at Chinese school

BEIJING – A former medical worker stabbed to death eight young children and wounded five others Tuesday in a bloody rampage outside an elementary school in eastern China.

The 41-year-old attacker struck in the morning as students arrived for classes, mingling with parents at the school gates before suddenly pulling out his knife and slashing children, according to witnesses interviewed on local television.

Very sad that this happened. Main reason I am scared of having children because it is scary out there and can't fathom the idea of raising children in such violent environment. (Then again there is always the beauty to life).

as a parent, this scares the crap out of me. my daughter is starting pre-kindergarten in the fall and it's going to be really hard for me to let her go all day w/people i've never met and don't know.

if i were standing in the crowd as this was going on, the killer would not have left w/his legs in working order!!!

He would not have been alive....I would have show him exactly what it's like to be stab one human part at a time, first the legs, then the arms and make my way to more vital parts I have no patient or apologizes for b@stards of that type. Oh sorry! Life is hard, you can't deal with it, it's too much for you, poor little baby, let society take care of you. Sorry but there are bad seed in human life and they need to be destroyed and losers of that type have lost their right to live.

Thats horrible! Thats exactly why if I take my kids anywhere, I watch them like a HAWK! People are simply crazy these days and if I were around when something like that happened, the dude would suffer....period! If its that bad, kill your damn self, leave everyone else alone! I take no pity for people like that and I hope they suffer....horribly!!!

Exactly. Me and my fiancee have talked about what do in case if we are harrassed once we have kids. My fiancee had an ex who is freakin' psycho and I've told him to back the f*** off before I start laying down the law. If someone f***s with my family, their ass is going to get tore up. If someone did that to one of my kids, when they are here, I'd make sure this sick freak would be nothing but a stain on the road. People are crazy and it's nausiating to think that something like this could happen in real life. Movies, sure; real life, hell no!

Most recently in our town, we had a guy who was in his house point a shotgun at kids waiting for the bus because he thought they were messing with his vehicle. Dumb ass people. Never hurts to develope a plan on what to do when circumstances arise. My parents always told me to yell fire if I were in a store or a mall when I was a little kid. Just the other day I was in Anderson's (a high end grocery store/walmart, weird yes) and code Adam came other the PA system for an eleven yr old kid. I'd beat my kids ass if I had to do that.

Well trying not to turn this into too much of a political discussion, but you have the as***le in Califorina who killed those two teenage girls, and the psych report says he should not be free to walk around. Has to be a fine line, well we want these people locked up, but we are not willing to pay for it. F**k with family, I have a pistol waiting.
