I need your help guys. I'm trying to track down four tv shows from the 90's without much success. My dad is newly retired and has some mobility issues but loves to golf and has been trying to hit the course up a little too often and he pays for it later. I'm trying to get him to stay home more, He always says that there is nothing much to watch on tv so i'm trying to find a few of his favorite shows from back in the day to give him something to watch again. He ditched cable and only has OTA,Blu-Ray Player and a firestck. I'm looking for Nash Bridges, Matlock, Walker Texas Ranger & In The Heat Of The Night. I found NB the complete series on Blu-Ray which I ordered for him and is a good start, but no luck at all in finding the others on Blu-Ray, maybe I might find the rest on Itunes? I'm leery about purchasing the older DVD sets of matlock & walker as I have seen too many bad reviews about them looking terrible and unplayable disc's and it looks like In The Heat Of The Night has missing episodes on their dvd sets so I'm pretty much at a standstill.

In the Heat of the Night is on Amazon Prime. So if he has a Firestick, he probably has or should get a Prime subscription. Or share one with him if you want to help add to his watchlist and stuff.
CBS's streaming service has plenty of old people shows (sorry), including Nash Bridges, so maybe he'll be into the NCIS and CSIs and others. I don't think Matlock and Walker are streaming on any services. So DVDs or iTunes/other are apparently the only options. Those shows are not going to be upgraded to HD, so even if the DVDs look bad that's likely as good as they're going to get. |
