United Kingdom Hannibal (Season One) - Studio Canal

https://www.blu-ray.com/news/?id=11174&page=

Excellent news. One of the biggest surprises of the new television season, and seeing that NBC shows seem to rarely get Blu-ray releases, I'm happy to see Studio Canal releasing this. It's arguably the best filmed series on television right now, so it should look amazing on Blu-ray.

Pre-Order at amazon.co.uk for £14.22

Great Price!

I have enjoyed all of Fuller's work so far and liked the first episode, so I'll definitely get this.

I'm not sure if this is going to last another season. I've enjoyed the first two episodes but the US ratings have been dropping, hopefully the International audience will be strong enough for it to continue.

The international audience is alleged to be one of the reasons the show might get a second season... that and the showrunners outline on how the show will progress and potential a-list actors being cast in the second season.

This is great news, I have the aired episodes on my TiVo (have not watched them yet), but now I think I will just let them record, and then watch the BD.

It's great news that it's getting a BD release, and especially at such a tempting price. However, like others, I'll wait and see whether or not it gets picked up for a second season before I go for it I think.

I'm going to be so annoyed when NBC inevitably cancel this. It's not certain but they have another serial killer helps the police type show coming up with James Spader that has tested very well so I'm not that confident

It's a bizarre show for NBC but it's so well done even done to how it's shot it will probably be gorgeous with a good blu-ray transfer and Mikkelson is immense and so good with his version of Lecter. Hopefully with Dexter finishing soon Showtime might get it. It would be far more suited on either Showtime, AMC or HBO anyway

I too hope this continues. It's a very... strange show, in a great way. It's got a eriee atomsphere and I love the moments of surrealism. Very unique.

I hope it continues and I'm going to preorder at this price in hopes that might add some incredibly small incentive for them to keep it going

So do we think it will include the fourth episode Bryan Fuller asked NBC to pull?

It will. It's on the schedule for Sky living on the 28th may so I don't see why not

I thought this had to be a misprice so I placed my order straight away. I would've probably waited for the price to drop if it was £25 to start with, but £14.22 was pretty much a no brainer

If it gets cancelled, there are a number of networks eager to get their teeth into it. Bad puns aside, bloodydisgusting reports interest from a number of cable networks (and amazon ). Fuller needs this to be a HBO or a Showtime thing. NBC are too scared of the Mormon majority.

I'm not sure I can take it been more icky. At the moment the crime-scenes are like little works of [albeit horrific] art.

A Bryan Fuller show going more than a few seasons is like Halley's Comet you may be lucky to see it twice in a lifetime. And only once in HD!

I feel bad for Fuller. His shows are clever and well-written, yet trash like The Real Housewives of Whatever get renewers. What up wit' dat?

Also, I knew mushrooms were bad for you. Horrible things.

I sincerely hope you're not including The Real Housewives of Atlanta in that rant.
