Dead Or Alive: Paradise Brings Dead Or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball to PSP

Finally, the girls from Dead or Alive can go on vacation with you. Dead or Alive: Paradise is essentially a portable version of Dead or Alive Xtreme.

As seen in this week’s issue of Famitsu, the heroines from Dead or Alive are on the beach (again) playing volleyball and jumping on inflatable pool toys. Who can drool over? Ayane, Kokoro, Kasumi, Hitomi, Lei Fang, Helena, Lisa, Christie, Tina, and Rio.

No, Rio isn’t a Dead or Alive character. She’s a top heavy gambling icon seen in pachinko parlors and an iPhone blackjack game developed by Tecmo. In Dead or Alive: Paradise, Rio makes a cameo as the casino blackjack dealer.

Like the Dead or Alive Xtreme titles, the goal of the game is to take photos and build relationships with the girls by giving them presents. The game is set for release on April 2, 2010 in Japan.

Are you forgetting the Xtreme Beach Volleyball games we already have on Xbox systems in America? So I say there is a good possibility for a U.S. release. Besides even if it doesn't come to America, PSP is region free so just order it off of someplace like Play-Asia.com or some other site that lets you import Japanese games.

I've never played with an Xbox but I did have DOA2 on my Dreamcast. Of course,... it wasn't about taking pictures, building relationships and buying presents for the girls which is why I figured this sounded more like a Japan only release.

The game will be sold either as a stand alone or in two different bundles. The ¥7,329 "Secret Paradise Box" is bundled with a secret photo album, soundtrack CD, an original Kasumi box cover and the game. The ¥15,729 is bundled with all that plus the Kasumi figurine. It allows players to enjoy two different bathing suits: skimpy and skimpier.

So Rio Will Be 1 of the Playable Girls and Will Be In Her Bikini

Dead or Alive Paradise has a new girl to play volleyball with, but Rio isn’t made just for this PSP game. She’s a crossover character.

Rio is taking a break from the pachinko parlors and hitting the beach. In Dead or Alive Paradise you can take pictures of Rio wearing a bikini. A little bit of fanservice for all of the Rio fans in Japan.

DOA Paradise Portable Coming Stateside

Tecmo confirmed Dead or Alive Paradise for North America with an e-mail that says “paradise in the palm of your hand.”

In Dead or Alive Paradise you hang out on New Zack Island, earn money by playing beach volleyball and spend it on buy gifts for Dead or Alive’s female stars. Woo the ladies with 100+ swimsuits and then take pictures of them which can be saved in a private album.

The announcement came with a gallery of swimsuit pictures and a spring/March release date. The fact sheet says March, while the e-mail says spring. Dead or Alive Paradise is slated for April 2 in Japan.

If it really does come out in March in America then that means we get it before the Japanese do(probably just by a couple of days).

In Japan on PSP they'll be fighting over if they should get DOA Paradise or Ikki Tousen Xross Impact(a fighting platformer game similar to Streets of Rage style gameplay where if you beat the boss for that level the clothes rip or the one you are controlling as if you lose and mostly all female characters).

Those little porno-esque statuettes are quite the rage over in Japan. That one of Kasumi there is one of the more tasteful I would have seen. They sell them right on the counters, in front of any kid allowed in a toy store, and nobody cares. Either much healthier sexually than we are or much creepier, I still can't quite decide.

Funny, my Dad bought Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volley Ball for the Xbox. I don't recall playing it (tried to use it with the 360 though, but didn't work).

I didn't mean the actual video game, which is actually kind of fun, but the little statuette of Kasumi that Bandit 29 posted a picture of. She does have a thong on, which is a great deal more than most of the bare boobs and ass statuettes they had on display over there. Nothing crotch related, however, still seems to be a prohibition on that.
