Hey everybody ,

I've been a www.blu-ray.com watcher for a very long time (Sony supporter since beta launch days), figured I should register and start posting instead of acting like a voyeur; glad I did as I see there is a Trading Forum, hopefully I can get some use out of it, and maybe help some other members.
Anyway, I have 11 movies now and was wondering what your top 5 favorite BR movies are (as far as transfer video/audio/re-watch-ability); I’m looking to get some good movies I can watch over and over again and would appreciate any suggestions.

OK, not all of those are necessarily great PQ/SQ, but in terms of watchability they're second to none -- and all are pretty good quality transfers.

Thanks everybody for the suggestions, I appreciate it.
I picked up 300 right away, I wanted that movie ever since I saw the first trailer online.
I've been meaning to get fifth element (re-mastered of course), I've just seen it so many times I keep putting it off.
I'm definitely going to get the pirate series, just been waiting for a good deal; guess I should start checkin out that trading forum .

How is shooter for action & repeat watching, I haven’t seen it yet but I like Wahlberg’s other movies, right now it’s at the top of my BBq (blockbuster Queue), on Long Wait; great, now I’m hungry.

Shooter actually turned out to be great , HAD great PQ snow scenes , Wonderful audio even tho the specs dont represent it ... Great movie, glad I bought it

I thought Shooter was better than I expected it to be. Great outdoor scenes and explosions. Audio was great too. I also liked the Senitnel. A good movie with Keifer Sutherland, and Michael Douglas.

Shooter is great for repeats. Marky Mark shoots tons 'o bad guys in the head...great splatter action in Hi-Def. A snipers dream of a movie and it is just plain BAD-AZZ!
