Grado amp assistance PLEASE

I don't know if this is the right place to post this question but.....

Has anyone here had the pleasure of using the Grado PH-1 phono stage? My present phono-amp's ac power line died. So I'm looking into a replacement. I think the synergy between the PH-1 and my Grado cartridge would be excellent. Also the wood finish would go nicely with my Dual CS-5000 turntable's base for an extra MAF (My Approval Factor ). I'd also be willing to look at other phono stages in that price range (sound being the paramount consideration)

I'm a huge Grado fan, and all of the reviews I've read over the last year or so have all pointed very favourably at the PH1. Are there better? Are there worse? Yes on both counts, but seeing as you have a Grado cartridge I think it may be a good move for you.

Unfortunately I do not think that many of us have any experience with the Grado Phono Preamp. Like John and others, I used Grado cartridges in the past, in my case in the mid 70's to mid 80's and have not used their cartridges since.
