Default PS3: How do you use it?

List here what % of the time you use your PS3 for doing what it can do.

For me:

70% Watching Blu-ray movies
5% Viewing Photos
10% Watching AVCHD discs
5% Gaming
5% Browsing the internet
5% MP3 listening

I think we're having a little trouble with our percentages on this forum.

Well, I'll have a stab:

60% bluray
35% games
12% photos, mp3, etc.

There we go!

Cool Apparently I am an odd duck

based on the prior answers.

60% games
30% blu-ray
10% photos

I also leave mine on when I'm not using it so it folds so that would throw the percentages WAAAAY off. I work, it folds, I sleep, it folds.

I own 5 games and 16 blu-rays so far. I'm not one to really go out and buy EVERY movie that comes out. I have to actually like the movie. I haven't replaced many of my DVD's with Blu's yet but that will happen over time.

Let's see...

20% gaming (mostly Playstation Store stuff: Nucleus, Blast Factor, Super Rub-a-Dub demo, Heavenly Sword demo, not Resistance or The Darkness which I own)
60% playing standard DVD's
5% playing Blu-Ray (only have 7 movies)
5% listening to music
5% watching downloaded videos
10% browsing the web
2% wondering if the PS3 is why the room is so bloody hot (no AC where I'm at either)

That's more than 100%, but since music and the web can happen simultaneously, they overlap percentages.

Anyone have a similar issue to me with Folding @ Home? When it reaches the end of a work unit, it tends to fail to upload the results and displays a Connection Lost error message. I have to quit out and restart to get it to properly upload. I'm thinking it might be because it's using a wireless connection. The one time it actually didn't give this issue was when I was on the internet on my computer (also using the wireless network) at the same time it finished a work unit.

I wanted a new tv, so i bought a sony bravia x-series.

I figured, seeing as I'm a bit of a gamer, that I should buy a ps3 at the same time, so i did.

I use it for games about 2 hours a week..

I use it for BR movies about 20 hours a week, my mates come over to watch as well.

It's just that good. What I thought would just be a small added bonus, has turned out to be the number one thing I like about my ps3.

At least until the top notch games start coming out.

i use mine as follows:
70%-Streaming media from Computer to PS3 to play it on my TV. (im military, in okinawa, so i download all my tv shows and watch them via stream to ps3 cause my 360 doesnt support the format range the ps3 does for streaming. if you wanna know how, message me)
10%-Blu Ray Movies
15%-Gaming (NG:Sigma and Resistance and ps2 games)
5%-Downloading content from PS Store such as previews and demos. (no cable here, all my previews are on internet or downloaded on ps3)

Streaming media has been a lifesaver because japanese satellite is awful and a week behind the usa at best, plus limited LIMITED channels. god bless tv torrents, tversity, sony and commercial free tv.
