I was wondering if this was a common thing for DVDs being played on a blu-ray player via HDMI to TV speakers to have softer volume, even at the same volume setting.
On my panasonic plasma blu-ray and live tv sound great and have plenty of volume as well as media files and audio cds etc. when I play a DVD video disc the audio seems significantly quieter. On a pure DVD player connected to my westinghouse or even played through my panasonic HTIB also connected to the plasma dvd audio volume seems normal. BTW it's not all discs either, it seems to be dolby stereo track DVDs 5.1 tracks seem ok. Any thought? I was just curious. Thanks |
