Default Vacancy Bookmarking!!!

This is interesting! Scene bookmarking appears to be available on the Blu-ray release of 'Vacancy'. I was under the impression that this type of feature was to be incorporated into the BD-Java technology being released at the end of October. Using the PS3 I am able to bookmark via the scene selection menu by calling up the ON SCREEN DISPLAY WITH THE TRIANGLE. Following the colour pattern below the chapter images along the top of the screen makes the process rather simple. Can anyone confirm if this feature is available on the stand-alone players?

Also noticed that when fast-forwarding or rewinding a time bar showing exact time and location pops up within the disc software to allow for precision. Again, something I thought was BD-Java oriented.

UPDATE: I noticed that the review of this release on this site didn't mention these facts! If that's due to only compatibility with the PS3 then it's understandable, but if it's a generic feature across all players then I'm sorely disappointed since these are giant steps in icing the cake that is next-generation home entertainment. Plus, it's one less thing that HD-DVD can hold over our heads, "WE CAN BOOKMARK OUR FAVOURITE SCENES TO ACCESS QUICKLY AT ANY TIME INSTEAD OF WATCHING THE WHOLE MOVIE OR TRYING TO SEARCH THROUGH THE MOVIE!" Now, they can't use that as one of 'their advantages'.
