Default Finalizing Blu-ray

When do you think Blu-Ray's specs will be finalized?

I can not argue the fact that the HD-DVD camp can say that one reason they like HD-DVD is because it is finalized. All players out will work with current and future HD-DVD titles.

I like the idea of what Profile 1.1 and 2.0 are going to bring to the table. But in all honestly, I do not know if these features are something that I will use in the long term. But will 2.0 be the final step, or will the spec be ever evolving? The good thing is that the doors are not closed to what Blu-Ray can offer in the future. But I do not want to look at Blu-Ray players and movies like you look at PC's or PC gaming. Where you have to make sure you read the requirements of the movie you wish to purchase or watch to ensure it is compatible with the profile of your BD player to enjoy the full Blu experience.

I am all for expanding the Blu-Ray experience and what Blu-Ray have to offer. At the time I also own the most versatile and seemingly most upgradeable BD player available, the PlayStation 3. I am just wondering what the final version of BD movies will be and when it will be implemented.
