Cnet.com tends to be a pretty good site for reviews. It can be a crapshoot as to whether they have reviews for some tvs, though, as they tend to do the more well known models and newer models more.

First choice is CNET
2ND choice is Crutchfield.com because they often have a downloadable pdf of the owner's manual.

When I was looking for a TV I got a lot of valuable information from the Amazon site product comments by real users.

Don't rely on any single review. Read several before deciding to purchase. User reviews are always a mixed bag. Add to your list of knowledgeable resources: hdguru.com and 'Widescreen Review' magazine.

i like http://www.testfreaks.com/. They test everything and have expert reviews on products as well. I don't know how accurate they are though.

It didn't appear to me that they test anything themselves. All I found was that they collect other people's reviews. I didn't look at every product, but every one that I did only listed others' reviews. Every reviewer has a bias, just like every other human on the planet. The trick is being able to discern how their bias may affect their analysis and conclusions. That level of discernment is rare, and can only come from much experience and education. We all do the best we can with what we've got. Just don't settle for one or two reviews, get as much input as possible before spending your money. Don't rely on popular consensus or market trends as your guide.

Yeah you are probably right, but i still use them as a reference. Sometimes you need the word of your fellow consumer.
