So,what the heck is this? And is it worth $29 ? I'm assuming it's some special cd?
I like Foreigner (seeing them tonight as a matter of fact), and recently bought the remastered cd at Walmart for $5. So I'm curious as to what this format is and why it is so special.

They abandoned the locking cases for the mini-LPs. I agree about preferring the older style, which protected the actual discs better.

Is there a booklet?

I have "Toulouse Street" by Doobie Brothers in mini lp packaging and find it disappointing (no booklet, cd isn't really protected,...)

But the disc is sounding good

I do not know about the booklet. Immediately upon opening a mini-LP CD, I transfer the disc to a jewel case and store the cardboard away. Horrible packaging idea by manufacturers, but MFSL uses it as a marketing tool. The number of scuffed CDs and SACDs is unacceptable out of a new mini-LP package.

The Lennon MFSLs were prepared and manufactured prior to their complete changeover to the mini-LP packaging. Every new release by them is now in the mini-LP case.
