Does any else do this? I buy new games, play 1-3 levels & then shelve them, sometimes for months or even a year before I come back & finish the game. My current list Batman Arkum, Red Faction G., & Halo ODST. I would consider them all good games. But for some reason I loose interest very quickly & then buy 2 or 3 more games.
I have resisted buying BS 2, Splinter Cell C., & a couple others until I finish every game I have currently. This includes the 3 above & Wheelman, Metro 2033, Fight Night Rd. 4, & the never been in my system Madden 10 & NBA 2K10. My 360 is powered up everyday & I play something 2 or 3 days a week for an hr or 2. |

i usually play a couple hrs a day. fallout 3 still takes up my time. i still havent gotten to dead space, bioshock, havent finished rainbow 6 2, killzone 2, and resistance 2 and got modern warefare recently that needs some attention. right now im anticipating red dead redemption and i know that is going to take up a lot of my gaming time. this habit only recently came upp. i used to be able to stick to a game and finish it before starting something else. perhaps some of the gameplay is getting old, i dunno. but batman i stuck with and finished.

i was deep into batman until my son took it to his cave. i have it back & will finish it next week. i finished MW2 & i'm going through again on veteran for achievement points.
even if the game play is somewhat different, i still will put what is considered a good game down. i usually will finish a fps in 2 or 3 sittings though. when i was single i could play all night, all week, & still get everything else done. i have the house to myself every morning, but i get a fraction of the gaming done. i spend a lot of time watching movies. my nights off are occupied by the wife & kids. |

Im very picky about my games as i am mostly an online gamer. and there is a certain criteria a game must meet before i buy it. lately games have been moving away from my criteria so i have been able to save money. now i just gamefly once in awhile

I'm the same way.... kinda. Games like Uncharted 1 and 2 and God of war 1, 2, and 3 took me know time to finish. But then some games like Ratchet and Clank, Dead Space, and Batman Arkham Asylum take forever for me to finish. I haven't even finished Batman and Ratchet and Clank yet.

I have an agreement with myself. I keep the latest installments of games such as Modern Warfare and Gears of War, and I keep all my Rock Band and Guitar Hero games because I always seem to revisit them. As far as anything else goes, if I stop playing it, I will never pick it back up. Might as well go to Gamestop and get something else and trade the useless ones back in.
